SUCHITWA MISSION
Suchitwa Mission was constituted by the Government of Kerala by integrating the Clean Kerala Mission and Kerala Total Sanitation & Health Mission (G.O.(MS) No.31/2008/LSGD dated 31/01/2008). Suchitwa Mission will be the nodal agency for overseeing, advising and supporting the sanitation activities of the urban and rural local governments in the State. It is constituted as a Society registered under the Charitable Society’s Act under the administrative control of the Local Self Government Department.

Suchitwa Mission, an Autonomous Agency under the Local Self Government Department, Government of Kerala, invites applications from suitable candidates for the following posts.

Senior Consultant (Design): Graduate in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering with exposure in Solid and Liquid Waste Management or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5 years experience in design and implementation of Solid/Liquid Waste Management projects. Candidates with proficiency in computer application, particularly in AutoCAD/GIS etc. training in solid and liquid waste management and exposure to design, estimate preparation and project management shall be preferred. (Remuneration : Rs.15,000/- per month) – One post

Senior Consultant (Technology): Graduate in Civil/Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering or M.Sc (Environmental Science) with exposure/experience in Solid and liquid waste management and experience of working in R&D or implementation projects shall be preferred. Programme Officer (IEC): Post-Graduate Degree in Social Work/Journalism with 2 years experience in Information, Education and Communication (IEC) programmes. Candidates with experience in rural and urban development/community development programme and proficiency in computer application shall be preferred. (Remuneration : Rs.15,000/- per month) – One post

Programme Officer (CCDU Project): Post Graduate Degree in Social Work/Business Administration/ Economics/Environment with 2 years experience in IEC programmes or Graduate in Business Administration with 5 years experience in IEC linked projects. Candidates with experience in rural and urban community development programmes and exposure to sanitation projects including solid/liquid waste management, proficiency in computer use shall be preferred. (Remuneration : Rs.15,000/- per month) – One post

Accountant: B.Com with 2 years experience as Accountant and proficiency in Accounting and other computer application software. Experience of working in Government, Autonomous bodies or public undertakings will be preferred. (Remuneration : Rs.7,500/- per month) – One post

Data Entry Operators: A Graduate in any subject with basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office software. Desirable: Pass in English and Malayalam Stenography (KGTE Lower)(Remuneration : Rs.5,400/- per month) – Two posts |
Appointments to all the above posts will be purely temporary and on contract basis for a period of one year.
